"If I could, I would give State Farm a minus 10 for customer service and not paying out on legitimate claims. We've had State Farm for 40+ years. Last year we were putting on an addition to our house. When the roofer showed up, he informed us we had hail damage on our 10 year old composite roof from the previous summer storms. We tried several times with the roofer to get them to cover the damage. They denied the claim on our 30 year shingles saying they were just an old roof and worn away by age. They were only 10 years old, and we ended up paying for a new roof by ourselves. I suggest everyone who has State Farm go over your coverage and change to an insurance company that will have your back. That is definitely NOT State Farm!"

"I hate State Farm for a good reason it just keeps getting more and more expensive and I have a clean record.
A tree fell on me and my motorcycle as I was riding, they refused to cover it because I only had comprehensive insurance not collision and trees are considered standing objects so even though the tree fell on me while I was driving, they would not cover anything because technically it classifies as a standing object, I call total bullshit. It was not a standing object. It was definitely in motion when it came crashing down on me. I’ve about had it and I’m looking for other options"
